annual meeting highlights
The Arbor Lakes Homeowners Association held our
annual meeting on Thursday, May 24 at Chandler
Elementary. About 15 of the 158 properties in Arbor
Lakes were represented in person at the meeting.
Others submitted their proxy ballots prior to the
meeting so that we were able to establish a quorum.
Minutes of the prior annual meeting held on May 12,
2011 were approved. You will find those minutes on
the Arbor Lakes web site.
HOA president, Tim Purser, presented
accomplishments and goals for 2011 and outlined
some projects the board would like to address in 2012.
A motion was made to add an additional $1000 to the
stock account from the $35K the HOA has in CD
reserves in order to grow the account faster. The
motion was approved.
The HOA discussed the appropriate process for
following up with Arbor Lake homeowners who are
delinquent in paying their HOA dues. A motion was
made an approved regarding the process.
There was some discussion regarding activities that
could make the neighborhood friendlier. A welcome

to chair the committee. Other committee members

Horsmann and Jeff Smith.
Other neighborhood activities that were highlighted
were: Yard of the Month, the Annual Fall Festival, and
Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Directors were elected – 2012 directors are: Tim
Purser, Steve Luke and Jeff Smith.
Steve Luke reviewed the common area landscape

Major project for the HOA this year is to repair and stop
erosion along the walking trail on the back lake. Tim
Purser estimated the cost for the work could be about
$19K
The HOA discussed the construction taking place on
Bethany and Angel Parkway as well as the
